(17) Chapter: The Prohibition Of Wearing Rings On The Middle Finger And The One That Is Next To It

باب النَّهْىِ عَنِ التَّخَتُّمِ، فِي الْوُسْطَى وَالَّتِي تَلِيهَا ‏.‏

‘Ali b. Abu Talib reported that he (Allah’. s Apostle) forbade or forbade me. the rest of the hadith is the same.

وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَابْنُ، بَشَّارٍ قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ نَهَى أَوْ نَهَانِي يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَهُ ‏.‏
