(9) Chapter: Evidence that the islam of one who becomes muslim on his deathbed is valid, so long as the death thoes have not begun; Abrogation of permission to supplicate for forgiveness for the idolators; Evidence that one who dies an idolator is one of the people of hell and no intervention can save him from that

باب الدليل على صحة إسلام من حضره الموت ما لم يشرع في النزع وهو الغرغرة ونسخ جواز الاستغفار للمشركين والدليل على أن من مات على الشرك فهو في أصحاب الجحيم ولا ينقذه من ذلك شيء من الوسائل

The same hadith is mentioned through a different chain except it ends where it mentions that Allah revealed the verses and it does not mention the verses. There is also a slight variation in words.

وَحَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالاَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، – وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ – قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّ حَدِيثَ صَالِحٍ انْتَهَى عِنْدَ قَوْلِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِيهِ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الآيَتَيْنِ ‏.‏ وَقَالَ فِي حَدِيثِهِ وَيَعُودَانِ فِي تِلْكَ الْمَقَالَةِ ‏.‏ وَفِي حَدِيثِ مَعْمَرٍ مَكَانَ هَذِهِ الْكَلِمَةِ فَلَمْ يَزَالاَ بِهِ ‏.‏
