(17) Chapter: Keeping the hands on the hips during As-Salat

باب الْخَصْرِ فِي الصَّلاَةِ

 

Narrated Abu Huraira:

It was forbidden to keep the hands on the hips during the prayer. (This is narrated by Abu Huraira from the Prophet.)

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ نُهِيَ عَنِ الْخَصْرِ، فِي الصَّلاَةِ‏.‏ وَقَالَ هِشَامٌ وَأَبُو هِلاَلٍ عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم‏.‏
