(47) Chapter: What has been said about the evil omen of a horse

باب مَا يُذْكَرُ مِنْ شُؤْمِ الْفَرَسِ

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:

I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying. “Evil omen is in three things: The horse, the woman and the house.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ “‏ إِنَّمَا الشُّؤْمُ فِي ثَلاَثَةٍ فِي الْفَرَسِ وَالْمَرْأَةِ وَالدَّارِ ‏”‏‏.‏
