(19) Chapter: The merits of 'Abdullah bin 'Umar رضي الله عنهما

بَابُ مَنَاقِبُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا

Narrated Ibn `Umar from Hafsa his sister:

That the Prophet (ﷺ) had said to her, “`Abdullah is a pious man.”

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ أُخْتِهِ، حَفْصَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ لَهَا ‏ “‏ إِنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ ‏”‏‏.‏
