(2) "Verily, He Who has given you (O Muḥammad pbuh) the Qur'an..." (V.28:85)

باب ‏{‏إِنَّ الَّذِي فَرَضَ عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ‏}‏ الآيَةَ

Narrated Ibn `Abbas:

Qur’an 28.85’…will bring you home’ means to Mecca.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، ‏{‏لَرَادُّكَ إِلَى مَعَادٍ‏}‏ قَالَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ‏.‏
