اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ الَّذِيْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
Transliteration:
Al-ḥamdu li-llāh-ladhī bi-niʿmatihī tattimmu-ṣ-ṣāliḥāt.
Translation:
All praise is for Allah — through whose blessing righteous actions are accomplished.

Hadith:
When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw something pleasing, he used to say [the above]. (Ibn Mājah 3803, Ibn al-Sunnī 378)
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا رَأَى مَا يُحِبُّ قَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ، وَإِذَا رَأَى مَا يَكْرَهُ قَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ. (سنن ابن ماجه ٣٨٠٣)
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، رضي الله عنها قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا رَأَى مَا يُحِبُّ قَالَ:الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ، وَإِذَا رَأَى مَا يَكْرَهُ قَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ.
(عمل اليوم والليلة لابن السني ٣٧٨)
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three:
1️⃣ Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity),
2️⃣ Beneficial knowledge (that people benefit from),
3️⃣ A righteous child who prays for him.”
(Sahih Muslim, 1631)
-اَللّٰهُمَّ يَا- فَاطِرَ السَّمٰوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ، أَنْتَ وَلِـيِّيْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ ، تَوَفَّنِيْ مُسْلِمًا وَّأَلْحِقْنِيْ بِالصَّالِحِيْنَ.
Transliteration:
(Allāhumma yā) Fāṭira-s-samāwāti wa-l-arḍi Anta waliy-yi fi-d-dunyā wal-ākhirah, tawaffanī Muslimaw-wa alḥiqnī bi-ṣ-ṣāliḥīn.
Translation:
(O Allah), Originator of the heavens and the earth, You are my Protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Make me die a Muslim and join me with the righteous. (12:101)

اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنِّيْ أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ زَوَالِ نِعْمَتِكَ ، وَتَحَوُّلِ عَافِيَتِكَ ، وَفُجَاءَةِ نِقْمَتِكَ ، وَجَمِيْعِ سَخَطِكَ.
Transliteration:
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika min zawāli niʿmatik, wa taḥawwuli ʿāfiyatik, wa fujā’ati niqmatik, wa jamīʿi sakhaṭik.
Translation:
O Allah, I seek Your protection from the loss of Your favours, the removal of Your complete protection, Your sudden punishment and all that which may incur Your displeasure.

Hadith:
ʿAbdullah b. ʿUmar (radiy Allāhū ‘anhumā) reported that from the supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was [the above]. (Muslim 2739, Abū Dāwūd 1545)
عَنْ عَبْدِ الله بن عمر، قال كان من دعاء رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “اللَّهُمَّ! إني أعوذ بك من زوال نعمتك، وتحول عافيتك، وفجاءة نقمتك، وجميع سخطك.
(صحيح مسلم ٢٧٣٩)
