(17) Chapter: Kira (leasing Land)

باب كِرَاءِ الأَرْضِ ‏‏

Jabir (Allah he pleased with him) reported:

I heard Allah’s Apostle (ﷺ) as saying: He who has (surplus) land should donate it (to others), or lend it.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ “‏ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَهَبْهَا أَوْ لِيُعِرْهَا ‏”‏ ‏.‏
