(6) Chapter: The reward of the judge if he strives to reach a decision, whether he gets it right or wrong

باب بَيَانِ أَجْرِ الْحَاكِمِ إِذَا اجْتَهَدَ فَأَصَابَ أَوْ أَخْطَأَ ‏‏

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira with another chain of transmitters.

وَحَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ، مُحَمَّدٍ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ وَزَادَ فِي عَقِبِ الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ يَزِيدُ فَحَدَّثْتُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ أَبَا بَكْرِ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ فَقَالَ هَكَذَا حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏.‏
