(86) Chapter: The Prophet (saws) will defer his supplication in order to intercede for his ummah

باب اخْتِبَاءِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم دَعْوَةَ الشَّفَاعَةِ لأُمَّتِهِ ‏‏

Mis’ar transmitted it with the same chain of narrators from Qatada except that in the hadith narrated by Waki’ (the Prophet) said:

” He was endowed,” and in the hadith reported by Abu Usama (the words are):” It is reported from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).”

وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، جَمِيعًا عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ غَيْرَ أَنَّ فِي، حَدِيثِ وَكِيعٍ قَالَ قَالَ ‏ “‏ أُعْطِيَ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي حَدِيثِ أَبِي أُسَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏.‏
