(9) Chapter: The obligation of washing the feet completely

باب وُجُوبِ غَسْلِ الرِّجْلَيْنِ بِكَمَالِهِمَا ‏‏

Salim, the freed slave of Shaddad b. al-Had said:

I was in the presence of ‘A’isha, and then narrated on her authority a hadith like this from the Prophet (way peace be upon him).

حَدَّثَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ شَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَعْيَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، حَدَّثَنِي نُعَيْمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، مَوْلَى شَدَّادِ بْنِ الْهَادِ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَنَا مَعَ، عَائِشَةَ – رضى الله عنها – فَذَكَرَ عَنْهَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِثْلِهِ ‏.‏
