(7) Chapter: It Is Disliked To Pray For Punishment To Be Brought Forward In This World

باب كَرَاهَةِ الدُّعَاءِ بِتَعْجِيلِ الْعُقُوبَةِ فِي الدُّنْيَا

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Humaid with the same chain of transmitters, but with a slight variation of wording.

حَدَّثَنَاهُ عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ التَّيْمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ‏ “‏ وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ ‏”‏ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الزِّيَادَةَ ‏.‏
