(1) Chapter: The travelers’ prayer and shortening it

باب صَلاَةِ الْمُسَافِرِينَ وَقَصْرِهَا ‏‏

Ya’la b. Umayya reported:

I said to ‘Umar b. al-Khattab, and the rest of the hadlth is the same.

وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَابَيْهِ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ ‏.‏ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ إِدْرِيسَ ‏.‏
