كتاب صلاة المسافرين وقصرها

(42) Chapter: The virtue of reciting the Qur’an and Surat al-Baqarah

باب فَضْلِ قِرَاءَةِ الْقُرْآنِ وَسُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ ‏

This hadith has been narrated by Mu’awiya with the same chain of transmitters but with this exception that in this the words of Mu’awiya:

” It has been conveyed to me…” have not been mentioned.

وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدَّارِمِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى، – يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَسَّانَ – حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ‏.‏ مِثْلَهُ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ “‏ وَكَأَنَّهُمَا ‏”‏ ‏.‏ فِي كِلَيْهِمَا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ قَوْلَ مُعَاوِيَةَ بَلَغَنِي ‏.‏
