The Prophets in Islam were exceptional individuals chosen by Allah (سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ) and sent to different nations as guides, reformers, and living examples of righteousness. Their mission was to call humanity to the worship of Allah alone and to uphold truth, justice, and moral excellence.
While the Qur’an mentions 25 Prophets by name, it affirms that many more were sent throughout history, as Allah says: “And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger” (Surah An-Nahl, 16:36).
In this series, we present the stories of each of these noble Prophets in detail, adapted from the renowned work of Ibn Kathir, Stories of the Prophets, and enriched with insights from contemporary Qur’anic commentaries.
Insha’Allah, through exploring their journeys, struggles, and unwavering faith, readers will find guidance, inspiration, and timeless lessons to apply in their own lives. We pray this series benefits you and deepens your connection with the legacy of Allah’s chosen messengers.
